Parents are responsible for their children while they are attending the skating programs. If you must leave the arena, please designate another adult to be responsible for your child and notify the Session Coordinator should this need arise.
Coaches are unable to leave the session to attend washroom needs, tighten skates, etc.
Parents are not allowed on the ice.
Also please note, the first few weeks of CanSkate are assessment weeks to make sure skaters are in their appropriate groups. Following that skaters will be assessed on a regular basis.

Volunteers Are Needed
Calling all you party-planners: Your Skating Club can use your skills again this Season to oversee our Fund-Raising events, our Christmas Party, Year-End Finale, Awards Banquet, and some important jobs that need doing in the Club Publicity department.
It's a rewarding balance of work and fun.  Please be part of it.
CANADA DAY Fund-Raiser
Despite the weather, we can once again call our Canada Day fundraiser a success. We raised $267.42 from the event; not bad for such a cold rainy day.
Thank you! to all of our volunteers, Roy for the use of his freezer, and Dan and Trina from the Lac Dore RV Resort for their donations to our Canada Day Fundraiser at the Marina.
Fund-Raising
Fundraising plays a vital role in the success of a non-profit organisation. It helps keep costs lower so that the sport is more affordable for a majority of people. Thank you for your help in raising funds for our Club—past, present and future !

Volunteers
Thanks, again, to everyone who donated to the various projects the Club ran this past Season.  Your help was greatly needed and greatly appreciated.
Bingo Volunteers Are Needed
The PSC has one or two Bingos per month which require volunteers from the PSC to be in attendance and help out.
Volunteers are required to attend a two hour training session to brief them on how everything is run.
(This Season we have Bingos on both Fridays and Saturday evenings.)
If you are interested in helping please contact John jlehman@bell.net
Nevada Volunteers Are Needed
The Club is also in need of a Nevada Chair, someone to be in charge of ordering the boxes and supplying the store when new boxes are required.
If you are interested in helping please contact John jlehman@bell.net
We're Hosting Region 6 Interclub!
This season the PSC will be hosting the Region 6 Interclub on Saturday, February 6th, at the PACC. All parents are encouraged to help out at this event.
